Privacy Statement

This Privacy Statement applies to the processing of personal data of visitors to the standard or mobile website of Flinc. Flinc believes in protecting your privacy and will handle the personal data you provide to us with care. Flinc adheres to the applicable privacy rules and regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation. If you have any questions, please contact privacy@nom.nl.

This Privacy Statement does not apply to any standard or mobile third-party websites accessible from links on a standard or mobile Flinc website.

 

Reasons for and purpose of data processing

When you visit the site, participate in an online survey or send or receive emails, you leave your data behind. These data shall only be used to process your request or response. The data in question shall not be collected or used in a way that is traceable back to you. Information on visits to the Flinc website shall only be used in our provision of services to you and to support technical decisions and statistical processing. In addition, Flinc shall also process data where required by law.

 

Which personal data?

When you use a standard or mobile Flinc website and/or receive an online mailing from Flinc, we shall process the following personal data, where applicable:

  • Given name and surname of contact
  • Address details
  • Telephone number
  • E-mail address
  • Data on your activities on the website in question
  • Data on your browsing behaviour
  • IP address of your Internet browser and device type

 

Cookies

The Flinc website itself does not use cookies. However, it does use Google Analytics, which uses cookies to track browsing and searching behaviour on our website. If you accept the cookies, they may remain on your computer for five years, unless you delete them. Disabling cookies only affects the computer and browser where you make this setting. What are you rights?

You have the right to view all of your personal data collected by Flinc and you may submit a request for this to Flinc. You also have the right to ask Flinc to correct your data that it has collected if it appears that the data in Flinc’s possession are incorrect or incomplete. In addition, you have the right to decline future contacts from Flinc that provide information on Flinc. If Flinc is processing your personal data based on permission that you granted, you have the right to withdraw this permission at any time. Complaint?

If you have any complaints regarding the processing of your personal data by Flinc, you have the right to submit your complaint to the Personal Data Authority.

 

Retention period

Flinc shall not store your personal data for any longer than is strictly necessary for the purposes for which Flinc collected your personal data. Your personal data shall not be stored for more than two years, unless Flinc is required to store them for longer according to the law or regulations.

 

Disclosure of personal data to third parties

Flinc shall only disclose your personal data to third parties if necessary to perform the agreement you concluded with Flinc or to meet requirements under the law. Flinc has concluded processing agreements with parties that process personal data under assignment from Flinc, and has bound these processors to a level of personal data protection and confidentiality that is at least equal to that applied by Flinc itself.
